Last night saw the launch of the BATS EP entitled 'Cruel Sea Scientist' their first release - out now on
Armed Ambitions records.
This will be the fifth release on the label in just under five months. The launch saw an overflowing crowd in attendance for this event,
music was also provided by the john carpenteresque soundscapes of Sarsparilla,
the poptastic sounds of Crayonsmith and the mighty melodies
of Terrordactyl.

Terrordactyls debut EP is set to be released on November 9th in the lower deck , Dublin with support from Super Extra Bonus Party and We Are Knives. Terrordactyl and Adebisi Shank are supporting English expermental rockers 65 Days Of Static in Cypress Avenue in Cork on November 4th.
Bats have just finished recording their debut release on Armed Ambitions and after hearing the unmixed and unmastered version it is set to be a unrelentless heft attack , hitting the mean streets in December . Also they will be touring with the "Warlords of Pez"and "Deep Burial" throughout Ireland at the end of October starting on the 25th of October in Dundalk at the The Spirit Store , 26th October in The Roisin Dubh in Galway , 28th in Stables in Mullingar , 29th at Cypress Avenue in Cork and finishing on the 31st in the Village , Dublin .
The Heft Tour 07' with thrashtastic rockers "Vimanas" and "Herv" Optimus Prime Electronics provided
bleeding ear drums to unsuspecting audiences and overall was a great success .

Adebisi Shank's debut E.P. This is the first E.P. from a band called Adebisi Shank will be released on 7th
July. There will be launch gig in the Lower Deck, Portobello. In exchange for the
entry fee of 10 euros you will also receive a free copy of the E.P. Support from
BATS, Enemies and Laminate. A nationwide tour will follow the album release...
Armed Ambitons // Organised Ideas was started a few years ago when the first communique was made to audiences via promoting DIY gigs in the form of "Organised Ideas"; who has since organised benefit gigs for such causes as Shell 2 Sea, Indymedia and The Brains Collective. Organised Ideas was also a part of the Porco Dio collective (RIP). The other side of the project is Armed Ambitions, which is an independent record label and publisher. The aim of Armed Ambitions is to support and release Independent bands and to help promote their music nationally and internationally, fully involving artists in all aspects of this process.
